Please find below our full terms and conditions of Iron and Ivy Hair Studio and Iron and Ivy Shop. These terms and conditions include but not limited to the below.
New Clients
For all new clients we require a mandatory in-person consultation at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. This is an opportunity for us to assess your hair and discuss your hair goals. We also conduct a skin test and strand test of your hair. If we feel for any reason that your hair is not suitable for the appointment you want we will contact you and reserve the right to refuse service if necessary.
New Client Consultations + Non refundable booking fee
If it’s your first visit to Iron and Ivy for colour, we do require a non refundable booking fee in advance. New Client consultations are a discussion about your hair goals. These consultations are complimentary however if you proceed to book an appointment with us, A non-refundable booking fee of from $100 will be required to secure your appointment. For larger appointments such as Balayage or large lightening services then a $200 non-refundable booking fee will be required in advance before we book the appointment.
If you decide not to proceed with your appointment for any reason then the booking fee will be forfeit, however as a courtesy allow you to use this towards products in our shop but we will never provide a refund.
In addition the non refundable booking fee is only valid for 6 months if not redeemed during this time then it becomes forfeit.
Cancellation / Booking conditions
By booking an appointment with Iron + Ivy Hair Studio you are agreeing to our cancellation conditions.
Here is a breakdown of our cancellation fees:
⦁ Standard services + Colour services : Cancellations outside of 24 hours of your appointment – No charge
Balayage, Ombre or Large Lightening Services: Cancellations outside of 48 hours of your appointment – No charge
⦁ Standard services + Colour services : Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment – 100% of service will be charged
Balayage, Ombre or Large Lightening Services: Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment – 100% of service will be charged
⦁ No shows – 100% of booked service will be charged.
Cancellation / Booking conditions – Online
All Online bookings are non-refundable
Confirmations + Booking
When booking an appointment all appointments will have a “Booked” status.
When a booking is “Confirmed” either by text message, verbally or via email, social channels by a client it is expected that you will be attending the appointment
If you have not confirmed your appointment then We make every effort to contact you to confirm the date and time of your appointment.
We do so by sending an automated text message 4 days before requiring a Yes/No answer. If we do not hear from you we will then call and leave a voice mail on day 3.
If still no answer we will send you a manual text message to confirm. If We do not hear from you by 48 hours we will contact you via email, phone and text message if you fail to confirm then we may cancel this appointment.
If you forget to attend a confirmed appointment then the appointment becomes a “No Show” and is fully payable.
Please understand it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees. You are always welcome to call and double check your appointments if you’re unsure.
Late Policy
We will always try our best to accommodate you if you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc.
Clients will generally be allowed a 5-10-minute grace period. After that time, we will call to check you are on your way. If you are more than 10 minutes late please note that we will do as much of the service as 11possible within the allotted time but the full service is payable.
Please, always call if you even think you might be late; we’d rather know as early as possible so we can do our best to fit you in without upsetting the flow of the day.
Again, please remember that your appointments are reserved for you and only you.

Adjustment Policy
All services are non-refundable however we are more than happy to provide an adjustment service for free of charge at our discretion depending on the circumstances
In case of a disagreement, an adjustment service must be validated by management. You have 10 days to contact the studio to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction.
The service must be either a mistake from the service provider (Iron and Ivy Hair) and not because you might have changed your mind after the service has been performed or due to a previous hair state or you have deviated from the after care form details.
It is important you contact the studio as soon as you are unhappy so we can schedule you As Soon As Possible for any adjustment service.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Delivery times may vary based on your location and the shipping method selected. We are not responsible for delays caused by external factors.
Returns and Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange it within 30 days, provided the product is unopened, unused, and shows no signs of damage. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that we do not offer refunds.
